Bang Niang
Beach Area Resorts

Once
primarily a backpackers area - Bang Niang Beach is
growing up with first class accommodation. Another
long soft-powder beach (that's what Khao Lak is all
about!) is on offer here.
Bang Niang Beach is also home to the areas biggest
traditional market - a favorite of people who want to
experience a bit of the local culture.
Lots of easy-to-walk-to shops and restaurants in this
area
A popular favorite right on the beach.
Small bungalow/villas that sit on a nice grass garden.
Several styles of rooms as this small resort continues
to grow. Most recently they have added a small
hotel building with pool access rooms.
Something to please everyone here.
And quite reasonable prices.

Always well reviewed,
La Flora is a boutique
resort featuring 70 rooms and villas.
Sitting on Bang Niang beach front, the
resort offers some very nice villas that face right onto
the sea.
Excellent service is the hallmark of
this resort.

Beachfront Bang Niang, the Ramada
Resort features 84 deluxe rooms including 8 exclusive
beach villas.
Nicely designed in teak and a minimal
modernism, the grounds offer a large garden opening to
the sea. Not your standard hotel feel at all.
Well done!
Easy access to the beach and most
rooms have sea views.
Many restaurants and shops are within a
short walk.

Villas, such as the one to the right,
sit right on the beach front. Similar to La Flora
Resort (next door) but often at significantly lower
prices.
Great location on the beach and an
easy walk to shopping and restaurants.

Between Baan La On (Nang Thong Beach
area) and Bang Niang, the Andaburi is actually in the
village area and a bit of a walk to the beach.
Modestly priced to make up for not
being on the beach, well reviewed - a good choice for
people who don't have to be right on the beach.

About 50 meters from the sea, the
Sudala offers a standard hotel type setting as well as
several bungalows/villas.
Moderately priced even during a high
season, the resort is well located and an easy walk to
shops and restaurants.
On the main highway in the village
area, some distance to walk to the beach.
Modestly priced to compensate for not
being on the beach.
More of a small hotel or very nice
guesthouse.
Another small hotel on the main
highway, quite near the Motive Cottage, but lower
prices. Well reviewed.
A good budget choice if you can't
afford to be right on the beach.
