Khak Beach: Khao Lak
North of Bang Niang Beach and
South of Cape Pakarang is Khuk Khak Beach.
Relatively undeveloped
compared to the beaches to the south - the
area is coming on line with upscale resorts,
villas and bungalows.
From the Khao Lak Orchid
Resort - which sits on the southern end of
the beach and is somewhat isolated - to the
quickly developing area along the southern
end of Cape Pakarang with the Takolaburi and
Apsaras Resorts, the beach runs uninterrupted for
several kilometers.
Central on this beach is where a
new Kempinski Resort is in process -
rebuilding the original Sofitel Resort. |
